20121107-083416.jpg Sue Schuermann, a librarian at Frank Lee Martin Memorial library, gave me the opportunity to learn about the library's 3,298 books over journalistic fiction. The Steve Weighnberg journalism fiction collection started as the namesake's personal collection in about the 1980s and grows every year. "The library uses funds to add about 30-40 books every year while Mr. Weighnberg brings in another 10-20 from his own collection," Schuermann said. "Mr. Weighnberg has a list that he uses to track down certain books that can be used for the library and we try to give him some ideas that we find through the library for Jim to go and find," Schuermann said. As the list keeps growing, so does the library.
