2023 K20 Center Innovative Learning Institute conference
The K20 Center for Educational and Community Renewal conducts an annual event inviting educators from across the state of Oklahoma to participate in a day of professional development and networking opportunities. The Innovative Learning Institute conference allows teachers, administrators, and education personnel to collaborate with one another through workshops, panels, and presentations on new technologies and methods to be used in the classroom.

Blank Slate Pottery became a vision for Simon and Hamish after researching the number of chemicals that go into the process of glazing pottery products on the shelves of big-name department stores. To offset this phenomenon, the duo created a product line that produced natural, eco-friendly dinnerware for those wanting a straight-from-nature eating experience off their plate.

Carl first envisioned Pumpkin Nursery after his first daughter started eating her vegetables. As his ‘pumpkin’, helping his daughter and family eat healthy and nutritious meals as often as possible became a priority in Carl’s life. An avid gardener, Carl started with a small vegetable patch behind his home and grew his family’s own produce rather than buying store-bought produce. Eventually, gifts to friends and neighbors became an incentive to start his own nursery for his community to share his love of locally grown produce.
