Brand Strategy

I started learning more about brand strategy in 2021. My primary objective with brand strategy was to learn more about how to design brand logos and brand identities.

When I delved into learning more about brand strategies, I was glad to learn more about how it integrated into marketing initiatives and audience development. The background research that went into building the brand strategy helped me determine the best fit for my professional goals.

Email Marketing

My experience in email marketing started in 2020. I started by building email design templates for marketing agencies to help promote client’s marketing efforts with their audience.

I also extended my efforts by learning more about the marketing methods by working with accessibility experts with educational institutes. While working with various departments within two universities, I set up or designed regular newsletters after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Social Media Marketing

I started working with social media marketing in 2018. Starting with social media designs, I helped marketing agencies and education industries build a social media following.

I then started building and managing my own social media marketing plans for my freelance pursuits and professional experiences. When growing social media platforms, I primarily focus on brand awareness and conversion rates.

project management

I started investing in learning more about project management in 2021. While at the K20 Center, I created various programs to make projects run more efficiently within the office.

My experience with project management was to help make life easier for multiple departments and systems within an organization or business.

Digital Marketing

Web management and design has been part of my professional job responsibilities since 2020. I started learning web design by assisting managing updates with the Oklahoma State University’s Spears School of Business website. I supported the department when transitioning the website to updated brand guidelines with the university.

Digital marketing also extended to digital signage and advertisements the university promoted throughout the school for events and programs.

print marketing

Print design is my bread-and-butter which I’ve been doing in some form since 2015.

I prefer to work on brochure or long-form content, but have done a variety of work, such as infographics, posters, flyers, postcards, business cards, and much more.

My experience has primarily been with educational industries, but when producing print materials, I have also cross-produced many products to digital formats.
