Are we ready for Black Friday?!

Black Friday deals are great to invest in for your small business. You might not make a huge purchase, but you can achieve a huge investment regardless of how much you’ve spent.

As a small business owner, especially over the last year, we’ve had to pinch pennies like never before. This Black Friday, you can find the best Black Friday deals for less than $50.

Most of these Black Friday deals won’t be made public and are subject to change before Black Friday hits, but these prices are the typical investment you can expect to make when purchasing these programs or items.

I typically use Black Friday deals to educate myself to improve my small business, but I also know some small business owners need other programs to uplift their business. These investments are a great addition to any small business looking to grow and improve throughout the new year.

I tried to vary the programs and items across various topics but would love to hear more and what services you hope to invest in on Black Friday in the comments!

Story Vault by Elise Darma $27.99

Social Media has been the ban of my existence while I’ve been running my business. I don’t consider myself a guru when it came to most social media platforms or when it came to my business account. So, I found a guru to teach me more about the platform.

I knew Instagram Stories was a huge selling point for most small businesses, but I didn’t know how to convert many of those views into sales. I needed more information about how to make an engaging following on Instagram. Still, the Story Vault gave me prompts to start and a way to strategize my content for an Instagram Story.

If you’re still learning Instagram marketing techniques for your small business, I highly recommend investing in one of Elise Darma’s Vault collections.

Custom Typeface collection $10-27

A custom typeface for your small business can help differentiate your brand among the plethora of competing companies in your industry. Most people don’t consider buying a typeface specific to their business start-up but don’t realize it can be very affordable.

Most type collections are $10-30 with a variety of different fonts. Some typefaces are for displays only, so you may only have a regular and bold font selection, whereas others will have italic, thin, bold, regular, and more if it’s a body type.

You can find most typefaces on Etsy or Creative Market. Searching for a Type Foundry can also provide many different typefaces but might be more expensive.

Books and Journals $14.99-24.99

I’m a big supporter of reading, as seen by my Instagram feed. Most books will cost you $10-25 depending on a hardcover or paperback edition and can be even cheaper if you find a digital or audio version. You can also find so many versions and points of view for whatever you want to learn!

For my small business, I’ve found that it’s easiest to have a journal to jot down my ideas, thoughts, and processes. Journals don’t have to be a considerable investment, I think my journal was $10 at Wal-Mart, but it can be as individual or structured as you need it to be for your lifestyle. Plus, journals make an excellent impression for thank you gifts for your clients as well.

Black Friday will ensure that most books and journals are the lowest possible, especially if ordered in bulk.

Business Cards from moo.com $19.99-41.99

If you want to make an investment in your business this Black Friday, snag a deal with moo.com and order those business cards you’ve been putting off. Business cards are an effortless way to get your name out there without investing a lot of money into something. moo.com allows you to be as luxurious as you want with their options; however, a basic set of 50 cards is a steal at $20.

Sure, you can get your cards cheaper at many places, but moo.com consistently brings excellent quality to their products. You can get various marketing products there without worrying about lousy quality or being confused about ordering anything. Everything is set and user-friendly.

Choose which format and embellishments you might want, and your order is good to go!

Subscription services

While not every program will have Black Friday deals, it’s worth looking into some of these subscriptions during the Black Friday season.

KeeperTax $24.99/mo

This app will keep tabs on all of your expenses that pertain to your business. Not only does it let you categorize and manipulate your costs, but it assigns a personal tax expert to help you if you have any questions.

MailChimp $9.99-14.99/mo

Email marketing platforms are an excellent tool for your business. MailChimp is one of my favorite and probably one of the most affordable. You can start building your list for free for up to 2,000 members before subscribing.

Tailwind Plus $14.99-29.99/mo

I’ve been using Tailwind for my Instagram and my Pinterest management, and it’s worth every penny. You can choose to only use one at $14.99 or both for $29.99.

Adobe Creative Cloud $9.99-52.99/mo

I use Adobe Creative Suite for multiple projects within my small business. I’d recommend the Photoshop and Lightroom bundle for basic needs, but you can also access all the apps for $52.99/mo.

I’ve found Grammarly extremely helpful on several projects. No matter if you are sending an email to your clients or writing a blog post, you can import your content and have an edited document in a few minutes.

Make sure when you choose a subscription service, you will be able to maintain the monthly allowance and if you will use the service to a fuller extent throughout the month or year that you purchase the service.
